Terms and Conditions of Service

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our laundry services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Agreement

By using The Dhobi Retail services, you enter into a binding agreement with us. These terms govern your use of our laundry, dry cleaning, and related services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

The Dhobi Retail provides professional laundry services including but not limited to:

  • Wash and fold services
  • Dry cleaning for delicate fabrics
  • Ironing and pressing services
  • Stain removal treatments
  • Express and same-day services
  • Home pickup and delivery

3. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate contact information and delivery addresses
  • Informing us of any special care instructions for your garments
  • Reporting any pre-existing damage to items before service
  • Ensuring items are properly prepared for pickup (empty pockets, remove accessories)
  • Making timely payments for services rendered

4. Pricing and Payment

Service prices are determined by item type, fabric, and service level. We reserve the right to adjust prices with 30 days' notice. Payment is due upon delivery unless other arrangements have been made. We accept cash, credit cards, and digital payment methods.

5. Service Guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship and will re-clean any item that does not meet our quality standards at no additional charge. However, we cannot guarantee removal of all stains, especially those that have set over time or are caused by certain substances.

6. Liability and Limitations

While we take utmost care with your garments, our liability is limited to the cost of cleaning the item. We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage or wear
  • Items left in pockets
  • Damage caused by manufacturer defects
  • Items not properly disclosed as delicate or requiring special care

7. Lost or Damaged Items

In the rare event of lost or damaged items, we will work with you to reach a fair resolution. Claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. We maintain insurance coverage for such incidents.

8. Service Scheduling

We strive to meet all scheduled pickup and delivery times. However, we are not liable for delays due to weather, traffic, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you of any significant delays.

9. Cancellation Policy

Services may be cancelled up to 2 hours before scheduled pickup time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before pickup may incur a cancellation fee.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Customer information is used solely for service delivery and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with local laws.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or other force majeure events.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
